Swanvale Park volunteer gardening session

Swanvale Park is a well used public open space which forms part of the Green Corridor leading from Tregoniggie Woods to Swanpool.  It has a football pitch, a wooded area and some wildlife-friendly flower beds.  More works are planned for early 2026 and the Cormac team would like to involve the local community in preparation for this work and to introduce the ideas.

The first session will take place on Thursday 13 November between 10am and 1pm.

What's involved?

Becky will lead the session and there will some simple gardening tasks to prepare the park for winter and let you know what the plans are for 2026.

All equipment is provided.  Please dress in robust footwear and clothing.

Why get involved?

Swanvale Open space is a valuable community space on Falmouth's Green Corridor.  The more the community gets involved with its upkeep, the better the space will become where everyone can feel welcome and safe.
