We provide a range of services to support local families.
Roles availble include home visiting, telephone support, group activities, parenting courses, digital and face to face activity.
If you are friendly, non judgemental, a good listener/communicator, reliable, have a caring attitude, a warm & open personality and a sense of humour, this could be for you
Volunteers must be willing to work within HSK policies on Equality, Diversity, Safeguarding, Confidentiality & GDPR and complete paperwork as needed.
What's involved?
We provice full training for all roles.
Enhanced DBS is required and we will pay for that.
We pay all related expenses for attending the course and visiting families, ongoing training and peer support events.
Volunteers offer practical, emotional support, activities with children and support to access community events and/or services.
