Minutes to spare or an hour or two?

Falmouth Carnival takes place as part of Falmouth Week on Saturday 9th August 2025. Organised by Falmouth Marine Band and Falmouth Town Council, the carnival is always a highlight of the year, but we need help from volunteers to ensure it all runs smoothly.

What's involved?

The parade will congregate at Falmouth Rugby Club, leaving the recreation ground at 18:30. All participants will travel down Killigrew Street, The Moor, Webber Street, Market Strand, Market Street, Church Street, Arwenack Street and finally ending at Grove Place.

There are multiple road closures in-place for the duration of the event and we need volunteers to marshal some of the smaller closures to ensure safety for the event participants. Don't worry if you haven't marshalled before as a full safety briefing will be given beforehand and the amazing Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response team will be covering the main road closures. Volunteers will be working in pairs and situated on smaller side roads only.
