Regular Help

If you have some repair skills and would be happy to share them with people for a few hours a month, please get in touch, we are always looking for more repairers.

Even if you don’t have repair skills, but are up for helping, we need volunteers for other roles such as meeting and greeting visitors, helping with tea and coffee, social media, publicity, recording what we repair at events etc.

What's involved?

Falmouth's repair cafe hosts workshops every second Sunday of the month at the Princess Pavilion.  It's incredibly popular with local people who have brought in all sorts of items that our volunteers help bring back to life.

There are regular volunteer textile and electrical/mechanical repairers but we always need more so that we can fix more.

Even if you aren't able to do that, we also need people to help behind the scenes welcoming people and taking photos for our website Falmouth & Penryn Repair Café – Repair your things for free (fprc.org.uk).
