Speeding in our local streets is a real problem and endangers lives.
A new community speed watch for Falmouth has been set up to help tackle this anti-social behaviour and assist the police in targeting persistant offenders.
If you have time to spare to join in with this community effort we would love to hear from you.
What's involved?
Full training and equipment will be provided.
All new volunteers will work in a group, during the daytime, with no minimum requirement of hours.
You will be required, as a team, to use a radar gun to record speeds and take details of vehicles that go excessively over the limit. All volunteers will be supported by a police officer and covered by the force liability insurance.
The more volunteers we can recruit, the more areas in Falmouth we can cover.
How to get involved?
Please accept this challenge and register for training at www.communitysppedwatch.org
