Regular Opportunities

Loveland Community Garden opportunities

Falmouth Food Coop promotes and celebrates culture, ritual & history through the seasons. Loveland is an 8 acre field in Penryn for everyone to enjoy. A place to reconnect with nature and each other through work, education and play. To grow, cook, and eat together. Together, we are growing a rich, resourceful and resilient community that enjoys creating a positive future.

Come and join in on a Wednesday (10-3pm) or Saturday (10-3pm)  volunteer session where sitting and enjoying the sunny view is just as encouraged as picking up a spade, hoe or seed to plant! Please email loveland@falmouthfood.coop if you’d like to be added to the volunteer email list for a weekly update on what’s happening.

What's involved?

Get hands on with digging, planting and harvesting the produce around the site.

You will be guided on what and how to do various tasks so you don't need to have previous experience of food growing.

Why get involved?

Encouraging small acts of local leadership, this is a space to make happy mistakes, learn by doing, dream green and make good things happen.

If practical work isn't up your street, please support Falmouth Food Coop by purchasing your groceries from their shop

How to get involved?

Come along to the Fields on a Wednesday or Saturday between 10am - 3pm.  The field can be found here.  We encourage walking where possible as parking is in rather short supply at the field. The entrance to Loveland leaves the riverside footpath at roughly What3Words ///ankle.pupils.ground.
